Carlos Bezos, PhD in Social Anthropology, is recognized as one of the pioneers of the patient experience in Spain.
He is responsible fot the Institute of the Paciente Experience (IEXP), which is considered the benchmark entity in the field in Spain. Since 2016 IEXP has stood out for working from the patient's experience with patients and professionals in improving care, in terms of process, protocols, referrals, diagnoses, etc. promoting therapeutic adherence, patient-centered prescription or the reduction of dropout rates in clinical trials. He has participated in national and Europeans projects. |
Interview with Oriol Solá-Morales about innovation, health economics and sustainability.

Oriol Solá-Morales, specialist doctor in internal medicine, with an MSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) and a PhD from the Universitat Rovira i Virgili . He was director of AQuAS, the Agency for Quality and Health Assessment of Catalonia (2007-2011) and has developed his career in the field of health planning and policy. He was director of innovation and strategy for several hospitals, a member of the Regional Research Advisory Council, and adviser to two ministers of health. As the founder of HiTT, transformed in 2019 into the HiTT Foundation, he fights for innovation in sustainable healthcare.
Oriol is also an adjunct professor of Pharmacology and Health Economics at the International University of Catalonia and teaches classes nationally and internationally. He is a Research Fellow at the OHE (Office for Health Economics). |
