Indwelling catheterization remains one of the most frequent invasive procedures in hospitals — and one of the most frequent sources of avoidable harm, discomfort and workload.

A catheter with an integrated flow-control valve.
The integrated valve allows the bladder to fill between drainage episodes when intermittent drainage is clinically appropriate, instead of continuous free drainage.
